My mother used to be a nurse at a kindergarten at this location, during the 1970's and '80's. The first and second floors were the location for the kindergarten and the third floor was apartment flats for those employed by the Post Office. I think it was in the '90's that the entire building was converted back to apartment flats and i don't imagine they would resemble the original flats - unfortunately. I remember attending kindergarten there when i lived in Poland, it is a beautiful building, stunning architecture. i have been a bit obsessed with this building due to my faint memories of spending part of my childhood there so i can understand your interest in finding our further details of your family's residence.
Would you be able to share photographs of the interior?
I have photos I received from the archives of the building as well if you would like those.

No i studiując słownik miałem wrażenie, że cały czas krążymy wokół drugiego piętra. Oczywiście, gdyby Andrew Lindner znał lepiej niemiecki, to miałbym większe pole do popisu. I am 100% certain it is the same balcony. Remember how I thought it was Flat 3? That was due to my memory of my Aunt telling me number 3. She would have meant Floor 3.
